TOP FIVE PURCHASES OF 2011 1. Milani Jewel FX Nail Lacquer—Gold I buy A LOT of nail polish but this bottle was the most fun to wear. Huge chunks of gold glitter make your nails look like they are made of sequins. Got the most complements when wearing this polish. 2. Givenchy Phenomen’Eyes Mascara—Gold Sparkles I was (and still am) on a HUGE gold kick in 2011. This mascara adds a hint of gold glitter which helps my small eyed self brighten up. 3. COMME des GARÇONS x MONOCLE SCENT TWO—LaurelMost AMAZING scent I have ever owned! I prefer masculine/woody scents and this one drove me nuts. I will only wear it for special occasions because I want to keep it forever. 4. Sam Edelman Pax Ankle BootI lost a lot of weight this year, so I bought a lot of clothes but none were anything special. These boots were an investment and a good one. My only regret: wearing them to a show were I stage drove (hitting a friend in the face with them) and wearing them to the airport and getting a TSA shake down because of them (next time they will be in the luggage).  5. Urban Decay Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color—Punch DrunkHands down the best red/orange lipstick I found all year. It lasts, color is VIVID, isn’t thin, but not so thick that you feel like you are wearing wax lips.
